April is Mathematics Awareness Month.
The 2010 theme is:
"Mathematics and Sport"
The annual "Mathematics Awareness Week", begun
in 1989, has been extended to a full month to provide the
mathematical sciences community the opportunity of promoting
the importance and versatility of mathematics and its
relationship to our daily lives.
